Interstate Aviation Inc. is the exclusive full-service Fixed Based Operator (FBO) located at Robertson Airport (4B8) in Plainville, the oldest airport in Connecticut. We also offer all types of aircraft flight training services at the Waterbury-Oxford Airport (OXC), as well. Founded in 1911 at nearly the dawn of flight, Robertson Airport is Connecticut's oldest airfield.
It began as an airfield consisting of little more than a meadow used by novice pilots in the early 20th century. Definitely recommend taking a helicopter ride through this company. The pilot is absolutely the best from explaining. the safety briefing to taking us on such a scenic route and pointing out all the landmarks along our way and telling us his own personal stories.
