Dr. Masuda graduated with a Bachelors in Arts degree in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from San Francisco State University. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree, With Distinction, from Southern California College of Optometry in 1986. Adding to his educational experience, Dr. Masuda completed a Contact Lens Residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry.

Dr. Masuda is committed to obtaining the latest optometric equipment. Utilizing a flat-panel LCD monitor, vision is measured by an electronic visual acuity system. In addition, a computerized autoperimeter is utilized to assess peripheral vision. Employing a computerized imaging system, digitized photographs of the external or internal structures of the eye can be captured to assist with analyzing and diagnosing eye conditions.

Dr. Masuda is an affiliated eye doctor with the TLC Laser Eye Centers. As an affiliated eye doctor, Dr. Masuda provides pre and post eye care for his patients receiving laser corrective surgery at local TLC centers. TLC Laser Eye Centers use the most recent, proven technology for your vision correction.
