Tutor meets with student and parent to become acquainted, discuss learning goals and expectations and create a weekly schedule. Tutor explores and assesses student's level of subject matter understanding and works to discern student's ideal communication and learning styles. Tutor will use brief assignments, concept tests or other techniques to determine how to prepare for tutoring sessions.
