Our founder, Jimmy, believed there must be an easier way to load and transport his race car. It became evident that the average car trailer was not up to par. His Camaro only had 2 of ground clearance, so he set out to build a hauler that would not require the front of the trailer to be jacked up, or the use of extra long ramps to load the car.
Ford GT

During the early stages of the project Ford invited JIMGLO Trailers to the proving grounds to check out the Ford GT and see what obstacles would need to be overcome to transport this supercar. It is extremely low, it is extremely wide, and it is impossible to get out of the Ford GT once inside the trailer.

Loading a low car onto an open car trailer can often be a headache. All too often you need long ramps (that are usually heavy and difficult to maneuver) plus you will need to jack the front of the trailer up to improve the approach angle. Sometimes that is not even enough and you need extra blocks of wood to get your low car on the trailer.

The JIMGLO Envy was built to be towed with an SUV, and engineered with a low profile design so it could be parked in a standard garage. Weighing in at about 2600 pounds its one of the lightest enclosed sports car trailers on the planet.
