Okanogan County Transportation & Nutrition (OCTN) has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and the general public since 1975. Our mission focuses on promoting independent living through comprehensive nutrition and transportation services across Okanogan, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Lincoln Counties. Established initially to provide senior meals in Okanogan County, we expanded our reach to include Chelan and Douglas Counties in 2005 and Lincoln County in 2008. Today, we serve approximately 87,500 meals annually at senior centers and 30,000 home-delivered meals through our Meals on Wheels program. Our transportation services, launched in 1978, offer door-to-door and intercity options, providing over 54,000 rides yearly.Funded primarily through federal and state grants, donations, and partnerships with organizations like the Okanogan County Transit Authority, we ensure affordability and accessibility for all. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we maintain strict non-discrimination policies and adhere to rigorous compliance standards. Our team combines decades of experience with a deep commitment to community service, ensuring every individual receives dignified, personalized support. The shuttle smells horrible, even some of the people who get on smell really bad! The thought process that went in for the stops it makes where made by a 3 year old who played 'eeny-meeny-miney-mo'. There are several stops it NEEDS to make between 2nd & Norman and the DSHS office; Such as DMV the hospital or the several doctors located in the area of the hospital. This would have made it as a private sent complaint, but since their website refuses to accept complaints, and calling and telling them about it does nothing it went here.
