The 2019-2020 is Trinity High School's 50th school year. We are celebrating "50 Years ~ A Tradition of Excellence." Trinity can trace its roots back to 1886, when St. Joseph High School for Boys opened on Lowell Street in Manchester.
At the invitation of Bishop Denis Bradley, the first bishop of Manchester, the school was staffed by the Brothers of the Christian Schools, an international order of religious brothers founded in France in 1679 and dedicated solely to Catholic education.Despite its small size, St. Joseph was a dynamic Catholic school which produced many prominent alumni and fielded outstanding athletic teams.

Trinity High School, a Catholic, college-preparatory community, provides a safe and caring environment in which students seek and achieve personal and academic excellence and grow in faith. One concern in education revolves around the disturbing trend in this country for the tenure of schooladministrators to be so brief as to have a detrimental effect on progress in our schools. The Albert Shanker Institute reports that Only about one-half of newly hired middle school principals remained at the same school for three years, while only 30 percent remained at the high school level for three years.
