Services
Spray Foam Installation
We install closed-cell and open-cell spray foam insulation to create air barriers, improve energy efficiency, and provide moisture protection. Our HPIP-certified technicians apply foam to walls, attics, and crawl spaces using industry-leading materials. This solution enhances R-value performance while reducing noise transmission in residential and commercial buildings.
Fiberglass Batt Insulation
Our fiberglass batt insulation services cover standard and custom-fit installations for walls, floors, and attics. We use high-quality unfaced and faced batts that meet local building codes. This cost-effective solution provides consistent thermal performance and simplifies DIY installation for new construction projects.
Blown-In Insulation
We offer blown-in fiberglass insulation for existing homes and new builds. Our technicians use specialized equipment to fill attics and wall cavities evenly. This method achieves R-49 levels in attics while minimizing thermal bridging and air leakage in finished structures.
Attic Insulation Repair
Our team assesses and upgrades existing attic insulation to meet current energy efficiency standards. We identify gaps, compression, and moisture issues before adding new material. This service improves temperature regulation and reduces HVAC costs in residential properties across Iowa.
Storm Damage Restoration
We specialize in restoring insulation systems damaged by severe weather. Our process includes moisture testing, damaged material removal, and code-compliant replacements. We work with homeowners to document losses and coordinate MidAmerican Energy rebates during the recovery process.

They came out and looked at the job then emailed a bid but have not been able to get ahold of anyone on the phone since and they are not replying to emails. Just a waste of time with someone who apparently doesn't want to do business.

I've had AFI out twice to my home. They've blown insulation into 2 separate attics, used an open-cell foam on a master bedroom tray ceiling and closed-cell foam in a shared wall for sound purposes, by drilling down into the wall plate from the attic and filling the wall cavities. Both experiences were very positive--professional crew, courteous, clean operation, timely...the list could go on. They were incredibly responsive, and I found the value of pricing to be great. On top of that--it has shown a utility savings from historical comparisons and has led to a more comfortable and quiet home. We

Affordable is the keyword to their name! I had quotes from four different metro contractors and AFI was by far the lowest bid. Not only were they lowest bid, but their their customer service was top notch. Clint took the time to go over every little detail and actually saved our family even more money by informing us that we didn't need the "extra" insulation two companies quoting us for. As for the install, Mike showed up on time, took a moment to explain what their install process was, they were friendly, professional, took time to cover our items with plastic, were in and out in great time and

This company is the best. Our home posed many challenges as it is 148 years old with additions of unknown ages. Mike K. and his team faced each challenge with grace and got the job done to perfection. Even with a 70 lb puppy, Milly bringing him toys all day. I highly recommend them!
