We have three dedicated veterinarians that serve Cedar Falls, IA and all the surrounding communities! I grew up on an acreage and spent countless time with our menagerie of pets. I remember telling my parents that I was going to be a veterinarian ever since I was eight years old. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 1996 and received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.
Prior to working at Taylor Veterinary Hospital, I was a general practitioner at Ottumwa Veterinary Clinic in Ottumwa, Iowa. As a veterinarian, I enjoy the variety I see every day; from a physical exam on a healthy kitten, to providing pain management for a dog with a terminal disease, to restoring a sick guinea pig's health, and everything in-between.

FAQ's
Report
We operate primarily by appointment. Occasionally there will be an emergency case that needs to be seen before a scheduled appointment. We do our best to minimize any wait time that you may encounter. For your convenience, drop off appointments are available. A drop off means you could bring your pet in at the time that works best for you and leave them with us for several hours.
Community Involvement
Report
This event is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer. By supporting Bark for Life, you help the American Cancer Society saves lives and that helps us move closer to our ultimate goal of a world with less cancer and more birthdays.
Wellness Care
Report
Preventive care is the single most important thing you can do to protect your pet's health. Your pet ages much faster than you do, so a yearly physical examination, stool check for worms, and a heartworm blood test for dogs, allow the doctor to find problems early. Vaccinations are important to prevent serious and fatal diseases in your dogs, cats, ferrets and to protect people too.
Senior Wellness Screening
Report
Pets age more quickly than humans. For this reason, when your pet reaches their actual age of 50, we recommend screening for potential diseases that could go undetected until they become serious. If caught early, treatment can slow disease progression and result in a longer, happier life. Abdominal ultrasound - Screens abdominal organs (liver, spleen, kidneys, etc.) for any change in size or texture, and monitors for any masses.
