Services
PCA Choice
Self-directed Personal Care Assistance services help clients with daily living activities like dressing, bathing, and meal preparation. Available to Medical Assistance recipients, this program allows clients to hire and train their own caregivers while we handle employment administration. Our support includes supervision, payroll processing, and compliance with state regulations.
Financial Management
Financial Management Services enable clients to self-direct their care through budget models or consumer-directed programs. We process payroll, manage tax filings, and provide spending reports while ensuring compliance with state requirements for CDCS and CFSS programs.
245D Waivered
245D licensed services include respite care, homemaker support, and individualized home assistance for waiver-eligible clients. Our coordinators help clients select qualified caregivers and administer services across multiple state waiver programs while maintaining regulatory compliance.
CFSS Programs
Community First Services and Supports replace PCA Choice with flexible self-direction options. We offer both agency and budget models, allowing clients to choose caregivers or manage their own budgets while maintaining continuity of care during program transitions.
Caregiver Training
Caregiver training programs ensure compliance with state certification requirements and service-specific competencies. We provide ongoing professional development for PCA staff, 245D workers, and CFSS program participants to maintain high care standards.

Very unprofessional. Still reeling at the negative letter they sent out to families & staff about the state hourly pay rate increases, which should have been good news, but they were upset about the short notice. Unbelievable. If youre considering using Accra Care, be prepared for archaic pen to paper time sheets and methods of submitting them. Online system wont be up and going till next year. They are very strict and you WILL NOT BE PAID if you make even the slightest error or something is unreadable due to the scan app they require to be used. They use ADP for payroll and I was sent back

I was terminated and they refuse to tell me why I was terminated. I worked there for over a year. They favor people.

Just in the beginning of the process, I dont like that I have to fill out my application for multiple clients. Just a mess to figure out!!
Update: I have worked for them for almost a year. We were the first ones to get our covid shots which was really nice. They are better which in this year. I just wishes they would do raises if you been with them for awhile.

I work at Accra Care and they are a real good company to work for! They are easy to get ahold of, offer support when needed, and do most things electronically.

This company does not care about its clients or its employees. The positive reviews are from office workers and not clients, PCAs or Homemakers. If you are looking for PCA services I strongly urge you to choose a different company. I have terminal cancer and need a lot of care. I see how the PCAs are treated as well and it is not good. Low pay and any excuse to not pay on time. Please, choose a better company.
