Osa has worked as a Georgia certified Prime for Life, DUI/Risk Reduction instructor for South Cherokee since November of 1999 in both the Woodstock and Jasper locations. She is a certified New Driver instructor and has been teaching this same course since 2001.

Prior to working with South Cherokee, Osa worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor for the Salvation Army in their Adult Rehabilitation Centers in Houston, Texas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Atlanta, Georgia.Gene worked as a credentialed Work Therapy Supervisor in substance abuse, for the Salvation Army in Houston, Oklahoma City and Atlanta as well.

My son has his learners permit, should I wait until closer to the time he is eligible to get his license to enroll him in a certified Driver Training Class? No, in fact it works to his advantage to attend as soon as possible after he gets his permit. He will have a better understanding of rules of the road, what road signs, markers and traffic signals mean.

Due to the current situation and what is best for our students, instructors, staff and the overall community health wise, we are limiting our class sizes. The Georgia Driver's Education Grant Scholarship Program offers driver's education to Georgia students who are residents, ages 15-17 with a Georgia learner's permit.

South Cherokee/Jasper Driver Improvement Clinic is licensed by the Georgia Department of Driver Services to conduct the Teenage Driver Training Program. This program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of private, individual behind-the-wheel training. All driving instruction is done in our state certified, dual controlled vehicles.
Road Testing

South Cherokee Driving Schools are eligible to perform Third Party Testing. A free one time retesting (can be completed no less than one week from original test date). What is the Driver Training Third Party Testing Program?

The Third Party Testing Program is program in which the Department of Driver Services (DDS) authorizes certified driver training schools and instructors to administer the road skills tests to individuals that have completed a 30 and 6 driver education course at the driver training school.

How to change attitudes and behavior from being an "Auto Pilot" type driver to one who always drives defensively being constantly aware of their surroundings and potential hazards. For any person under 18 years of age with an accumulation of 4 points within twelve months. The 6 hour Defensive Driving Class fee is $95.00 as mandated by the State of Georgia for any of the following legal issues.
