Avid Angling's nearshore trips will take you out on the ocean where you can catch some huge redfish, sharks, amberjack, cobia, seabass and more! Fishing the inlets, creeks, and bays is known as inshore fishing and has the advantage of short run times to get to the fish. We typically are on the fish and have lines in the water within 15-20 minutes!
We'll happily accomodate your entire family on our fishing trips, sunset cruises, or for a day of exploration on the Charleston waters. Kids love the experience of catching fish. And if they get bored, we can always hit a beach and look for shark's teeth or cruise around looking for dolphins and sea turtles!

We typically encounter seasonal species such as large sharks, amberjacks, cobia, sheepshead, spadefish, seabass, mackerel and more. During certain times of the year the action can be incredible and you will come back with some sore arms from fighting fish!

We offer flexible and affordable rates for inshore and nearshore charter fishing for all levels of anglers and ages. Families are welcome and encouraged to come catch fish! We offer competitive rates that for a family of 5 compare to that of a head boat with 80 people on board. We also have different opportunities to get out on the water if you aren't interested in casting for 4 hours straight.
