In 2016, Quinn Self and Austin Boyles c0-created Ignition Dance Academy. Ignition is a recreational and competitive dance studio based in Topeka, Kansas and offers introductory, intermediate, and advanced level classes to dancers ages 2-18+. At Ignition Dance Academy, it is each instructors mission to develop every individual that walks into its doors as both a dancer and a human being.
We have a strong belief here that no matter the circumstances, a positive, hard-working, and passionate student can be successful in any endeavor and it is our priority to encourage these behaviors in the judgement free home we offer. Interested in taking your dance training to the next level? Company + Mini Company are Ignition Dance Academy's competitive dance teams. Both Company + Mini Company are serious year-long time and financial commitments for dancers with strong work ethic, determination, and a self-driven can-do attitude!

Moorea began her training at the age of 13 with Radiant Dance Studio and Topeka Ballet in Topeka, KS. Moorea trained for two years before getting accepted into Joffrey Ballet School in New York City, where she would continue her dance education with highly established teachers such as Tim Edwards, Michael Blake, Colleen Barnes, and more.

The schedule shown above shows our most recent dance schedule. While classes times, days, and classes offered will vary from season to season, this schedule may be used as an idea of what to look forward to going into our 2021-2022 class season. At IDA, class levels are based on a combination of skill in said genre and age.
Finances
Report
Tuition during the summer is marked due the first day of each session. A one time $15 late fee will apply automatically if tuition is not paid 9 days after the marked due date. There is no registration fee due for Summer Class enrollment. Registration Fee - A one-time $45.00 registration fee is due at the end of your dancer's registration process each new dance season.
