Pine Lake Campground is the closest campground to Athens and the University of Georgia. We are open year-round and offer full hook-up RV sites, and cabin rental. We invite you to experience our campground, which reflects the spirit of camping and provides a wide variety of amenities to meet the needs of our guests.
We offer large, shady, level campsites and a peaceful, natural setting. It's our goal to make your camping experience as pleasant as possible. We know you'll love our campground as much as we do. There is no charge for children under 6 years of age. We at Pine Lake Campground greatly appreciate your efforts to arrive before dark. We do, however, realize that not all guests can be here before dark. If you know you will be arriving after 6 pm, please call the office to make advance arrangements.
Reservations & Cancellations

Check in time for all campsites is 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm for cabins unless stated otherwise. Reservations require a one night deposit to hold a site or cabin for you. Your credit or debit card will be charged at the time the reservation is made. Please be advised that once a reservation has been completed, any subsequent changes to the reservation will be subject to applicable fees.
RVs & Vehicles

Speed limit is 5 mph! Watch for children and pedestrians. The roads are for travel to and from campsites and riding about over the camp area is not permitted. Mrs. Chandler takes speeding in the campground very seriously, be advised. If you connect to our sewage system, you must use a doughnut or similar connection for sanitation and odor control.
Fire, Smoking, Safety

Please be advised that smoking is prohibited in all enclosed facilities and vehicles owned, leased, or operated by Pine Lake Campground and its staff. This includes all cabins and cottages, shelters, bathhouses, recreation buildings, and our office. Cigarette butts are trash. Dispose of them accordingly.
Visitors, Pets & Children

General Rules & Regulations change the Satellite Television to say : We provide Directv service with the hookup at the post. All pets, even service animals, must be kept on a maximum 6 foot leash at all times. Pets are not permitted in any building. Pets should not be aggressive, noisy, or disruptive at any time and must not be left outside your camper unattended.
