For Dr. Brian Hodes, veterinary medicine is truly a family affair. Not only does he own and operate Hodes Veterinary Health Center alongside his wife, Dr. Jessica Hodes, he essentially grew up in a mixed-animal hospital that his father owned in northern New Jersey. From the time he could walk, Dr. Hodes wanted to help his father in a hands-on way to better the lives of animals!

Jessie's mother worked her entire adult life in the field of veterinary medicine. Jessie remembers going to work with her and helping clean kennels, walk dogs, and observing her mom work in her office. It just made sense for Jessie to lean into veterinary medicine, as her mom did. Being raised on a farm further instilled her passion for taking care of animals.
