Services
Acupuncture
Traditional acupuncture uses fine needles at specific points to restore energy flow and stimulate natural healing. This evidence-based treatment effectively addresses chronic pain, stress, and various health conditions by balancing the body's Qi. Patients experience improved mobility and reduced inflammation through regular sessions.
Dry Needling
Dry needling targets muscle knots and myofascial pain points to release tension and improve function. This technique effectively treats sports injuries, repetitive strain, and chronic musculoskeletal pain by restoring normal muscle physiology. Patients report rapid pain relief and increased range of motion after treatment.
Cupping Therapy
Cupping creates therapeutic suction to increase blood flow and reduce muscle tension. This ancient technique effectively treats respiratory conditions, back pain, and soft tissue injuries by promoting circulation and lymphatic drainage. Patients experience immediate muscle relaxation and accelerated healing with regular sessions.
Herbal Medicine
Custom herbal formulations complement acupuncture treatments by addressing internal imbalances and chronic conditions. These time-tested remedies effectively support digestive health, immune function, and hormonal balance. Patients benefit from natural, targeted therapy with minimal side effects when combined with other treatments.
Sotai Ho
Sotai Ho combines movement and manual therapy to correct postural imbalances and joint dysfunction. This specialized technique effectively resolves chronic pain patterns and improves biomechanical efficiency. Patients achieve lasting structural improvements through guided movement re-education and targeted physical therapy.

Tim is very friendly and very knowledgeable. He has always been flexible with scheduling and been willing to fit me in any day or time. He's helped me with injuries but most commonly I see him for back pain and his treatments really do wonders. Heavy massage, dry needling and cupping are my common go-to's. I feel better even after one treatment and much better after a couple sessions. If you're wondering about helping yourself with holistic treatments, I highly recommend making an appointment with Tim at Steamboat Acupuncture.

I was not impressed. I sensed that he didn't know what he was doing. I walked out feeling worse than when I walked in.

Quite knowledgeable in Chinese medicine and clearly loves what he does. He saw me on a Saturday and while I was there he treated and alleviated a long-standing neck pain I have had, and that wasnt even the primary reason I visited. His patient and thoughtful approach to medicine has the ability to resolve ailments instead of simply masking symptoms. I will be returning quite often!
