Dennis J. and Cora Viator David are the founders of David Funeral Home. In 1943 they became involved in funeral service when Mr. David began working part-time for Mr. George Berges who owned Berges Funeral Home on St. Peter Street in New Iberia. Berges Funeral Home began its operations in 1937. 1954 - Following the death of Mr. Berges, Mr. & Mrs. David purchased half interest in Berges Funeral Home, forming a partnership with Mrs. Berges.

Dan is a lifelong resident of New Iberia and is the General Manager of the over all operations of David Funeral Home.
