If you would like your hours broken up, lets say in this instance, the time the booth is there and not being used is called idle time. We charge $50/hr for idle time. We like to set up before the guests arrive, and actually most venues prefer us to do so.
If your event is in and around the Indianapolis area, it is usually possible for us to set up the photo booth in the morning, and then come back in the evening for the time the booth is in operation.If that is not possible, then that would fall under idle time. We have an attendant there the entire time ensuring everyone has a good time and everything runs smoothly.
