Chris and Renae started adventuring long before they met, and WAY before owning and operating the River's Edge was even an idea. Each grew up doing all the things - kayaking, fly fishing, musky hunting, hiking, camping, canoeing, cycling, and sky diving, until their paths met and the adventure together began.

That means whether you're enjoying a lazy float down the river, on a multi-day paddle on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, or cruising the bike trails, safe and responsible practices are critical. Observing the simple guidelines and regulations set in place by our company, our partners at the DNR, and state or national law, will help keep you safe and ensure that our wonderful Northwoods is taken care of as well.
Shuttle And Delivery Service

Whether you have your own gear, or are renting some of ours, we can get you and your stuff there and back again. We can haul just about any mix of gear and people, within reason, to all of the common locations in the Northwoods, including some of the more obscure ones. It's always a good idea to call us when you have a plan that might include shuttle services.

Lodging at River's Edge is every bit a Northwoods experience. We're happy to offer the Northwoods Adventure Loft, a comfy, cozy room for two, and three full hook-up campsites. Located in the main lodge, our Northwoods Adventure Loft is perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended trip to the Northwoods.
