That was way back in 2003 and it's only because I was a blank slate. I'd just moved back to Kansas City after working in finance so most of the jargon was foreign to me. I struggled for a few years, but I also saw why there was so much misunderstanding after the inspection. So I used my free time during the 2008 downturn to reinvent my business and begin explaining things in a way my mom would understand.
