Silver Summit Dental was founded by Doug Laney after years of consulting with other dental practices to help them improve their operations. Due to this, Doug decided to open Silver Summit Dental in Herriman. His philosophy is that a partnership between the doctor and practice management delivers superior dental care and an overall pleasant experience.
Meet The Doctors

Dr. Hung Pham completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to pursue a postgraduate degree and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2018. He also completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) program in dental medicine at the University of Utah Hospital in 2019.

Dental Fillings

White or dental fillings have been used predominantly to fill cavities and make aesthetic changes to the teeth. They are either made from composite resin or dental-grade ceramic, as they can be customized according to the color and contour of the natural teeth. Amalgam is a mixture of mercury and one other metal (usually silver).
Root Canal

The root canal is a central cavity present in the middle of the teeth. It houses the dental pulp, composed of the nerves and blood vessels that provide sensation and nourishment to the teeth. The infection of the root canal can be a significant oral concern, which can even lead to tooth loss. Hence, root canal therapy will have to be performed to save the tooth from being extracted.
