Our primary mission is the maintenance, modification, repair, and overhaul of piston powered Beechcraft, focusing on T-34, Bonanza, Debonair, Baron, and Travel Air models.

In the aviation business since 1975, we have received 30 national awards in the restoration of various aircraft. Services
Services
Report
Our decades of experience have given us a great understanding of piston powered Beechcraft. We have acquired or made all of the specialty tools and jigs necessary to do major repairs on the aircraft. Multiple copies of parts catalogs, structural repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals are available to and used by employees.
Ultimate Bonanza
Report
The newest addition to Blackwell Aviation's specialties, the Ultimate Bonanza package is an aircraft that outperforms a factory new Bonanza at a fraction of the cost. Our desire is to rebuild the lowest time, no damage history, post 1978 V35, F33, or A36 Bonanza's into aircraft that are more powerful, more capable, and more beautiful than a factory new aircraft at half the price.
T-34 Mentor
Report
The T-34 was developed at a time when there was no defense budget for a new trainer model. The Bonanza's fuselage with four-passenger cabin was replaced with a narrower fuselage incorporating a two-seater tandem cockpit and bubble canopy, which provided greater visibility for the trainee pilot and flight instructor.
Wing Spar ADs
Report
AD 2001-13-18 calls out the continuous eddy current inspection of all T-34 aircraft wing spars at 80 hour intervals with additional flight restrictions. This is a very invasive inspection each time and can eventually destroy the spars. We are installing two Alternative Methods of Compliance (AMOC) to this wing spar AD on both the T-34A and T-34B model aircraft.
Center Section ADs
Report
AD2004-25-51 calls out the requirement for an approved inspection program for the fuselage spar carry through structure, and associated flight restrictions. We are installing the Airframe Life Extension Cable (A.L.E.C) AMOC in this structure to permanently comply with this AD. The installation of A.L.E.C will provide relief from AD2004-25-51 and allow the T-34 to fly at full flight envelope.
