It is our mission at Brookings Family Dentistry to be a compassionate, family-centered practice that promotes healthy and beautiful smiles for the entire family. Dr. Hilbrands and his wife, Miranda, met in SIoux Falls, just after Miranda had graduated from college, and as Nate was applying for dental school.
Meet The Dentist

Dr. Nathan Hilbrands is a South Dakota native, proudly graduating from South Dakota State University in 2007. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa in 2013. Dr. Hilbrands and his wife, Miranda, moved to Brookings in 2013 after completing dental school.
He was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship prior to dental school and practiced at the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Health Clinic as the Chief Dental Officer for the last 5 years.Dr. Hilbrands is excited to be serving the people of Brookings and the surrounding communities with quality family oriented care.
