Dorothy's Petcare is a full-care dog walking, dog day care and dog boarding service located here in Manhattan. Our walking service covers the Lincoln Center area and the Upper West Side and we also offer dog day care and dog boarding at our location at 421 Manhattan Avenue in Morningside Heights. Being in business since 1996, we are known for upholding a high standard of dog care and impeccable customer service in the pet care industry.

I started Dorothy's Petcare because animals have always been my passion. Especially dogs. As a young girl I had two: Jasmine and Bruno. They were my best friends and I adored them. Through spending time and caring for my beloved J&B, I developed a true understanding of dogs and their needs, as well as a deep respect for who they are in our lives and in our world.

Taking into consideration the amount of dogs and the explosion of new pet care services all over the city, the care of any animal can go from being really good to not so good.For us there is only one option, excellence! Dogs are not just dogs. They are an integral part of our lives and our family. They are a part of our family.

What We Do During Day Care, Boarding & Walking

Our goal is to make every dog in our care feel like home as much as possible. We believe in a lot of interaction so they have a great deal of inside and outside playtime and we're very sensitive as to what different dogs need at different times. They get at least two walks to the park during day care and three walks to the park while boarding with us.

NOTE: Please type in the letters 'NA' (not applicable) in all the fields that do not apply to you. All fields are required to be filled in. Otherwise the form can not be submitted. If your building has a twenty-four hour doorman where the keys may may be accessed at any time, we can pick up the keys from the doorman, retain them for the duration of the sitting period and return them on the last day before we leave.
