Notable Cases
Report
After extensive investigation and research, we secured a ruling which stated all evidence collected from our client was illegally obtained, and Boating Under the Influence charges were dropped by the State Attorney. First District Court of Appeal reversed trial court's ruling on division of property in divorce case, resulting in client entitlement to additional marital property distribution.
Family Law
Report
Florida is a "no fault" dissolution state. In other words, there is no need to show one party has done anything wrong to obtain a divorce. As long as one party presents evidence the marriage is irretrievably broken, the court may legally dissolve the parties' marriage. As part of dissolving the parties' marriage, the Court must divide the parties' assets and liabilities.
Domestic Violence
Report
Many times, the end of a relationship will come with intense emotions, and people don't always respect each other's boundaries. Florida law provides for an individual to secure an injunction for protection against another party under certain circumstances.

An injunction (also commonly known as a restraining order) is a court order preventing an individual from doing certain things-most commonly in domestic violence, dating violence, or stalking injunctions, it prevents an individual from contacting someone or being physically present near someone. The court can issue orders that prohibit the abusing party from taking certain actions against the other party.
