Services
Home Inspections
Our comprehensive home inspections evaluate all major systems including structural components, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and roofing. Using advanced technology like drones and thermal imaging, we identify both visible and hidden issues. Our detailed reports help buyers, sellers, and homeowners make informed decisions about property investments.
Radon Testing
We conduct professional radon testing using state-of-the-art equipment to measure radioactive gas levels in homes. This critical service identifies potential health hazards from odorless, colorless radon gas that can accumulate in residential properties. Our certified technicians follow strict protocols to ensure accurate results and provide mitigation recommendations when necessary.
Drone Inspections
Our FAA-certified drone inspections provide detailed roof and exterior evaluations without ladder risks. High-resolution imaging captures hard-to-reach areas, identifying potential issues with roofing materials, drainage systems, and structural components. This technology enhances safety while improving inspection accuracy and efficiency for both residential and commercial properties.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging technology detects hidden moisture, electrical issues, and energy inefficiencies through temperature variations. This non-invasive method reveals problems undetectable during visual inspections, including water intrusion behind walls and overheating electrical components. The results help prioritize repairs and improve home energy efficiency.
Stucco Inspections
Our Level II stucco inspections use specialized moisture meters and testing equipment to identify hidden water damage in stucco-clad homes. We assess sheathing integrity and identify weak points in the exterior system. This critical evaluation prevents costly structural damage from undetected moisture intrusion, particularly important in older stucco installations.

I had Mr. DeAugustine conduct a 'home inspection' on a mobile home that I had already purchased and was in the middle of moving to (from Tx to Pa; driving). I'm not sure I could tell you what I expecteded from the experience but I can tell you I was thoroughly satisfied! Even now 5 months after the inspection, I was able to email him for clarification of an issue he had noted in his inspection. Within the hour he had replied back to thoroughly explain the answer to my question. Impressed!!

I would definitely recommend Mirkwood Home Inspection for your home inspection reports. I scheduled Zack to perform a full home and a termite inspection. He was very prompt, thorough, informative, and detailed in his explanations and observations. If you had any questions or concerns, he made you feel comfortable enough to ask. He was open, honest, and upfront with what he found to be good, minor, or major concerns. In addition, he was very timely with providing the results of his finding. If you are in need of a home or termite inspection, you can't go wrong with Zack and Mirkwood Home Inspection
