Being a mom of three children, two with special needs, I know that all children need a unique style and approach to care. Giggly Hugs Child Care takes a natural and playful approach to caring for your child. Our teachers spend their day talking, playing and learning along with your child. The teacher's focus is on relationships and this allows the teacher to spend quality individual time with every child, every day. My name is Sarah Kirschling and I am the Owner/Executive Director of Giggly Hugs Child Care. I have strong beliefs that children need to have amazing supports in their early years to help them build the relationship and emotional skills that bridge them into their academic years. When I hire staff, they must have the same outlook on the importance of those relationship and emotional skills.

Proud to offer Child Care Programs to the Families of Waukesha and Surrounding Communities. Our center bases its daily activities and learning goals off of each individual child's assessments. Each child needs different things at different times during development and by creating individual goals and using those to decide the daily activities.
Infant

Our infant program offers a snuggly environment that places a large focus on safety, comfort, and security. We partner with you to develop a care routine that is consistent with your families' routine. During awake hours, babies are offered sensory discoveries, social/emotional experiences and early language opportunities.
Toddler and Two’s

In our bustling and sometimes quirky, blended toddler program your kiddo will begin becoming accustomed to a kind of consistency that affords them some choices and control. It is during this stage of development that children begin to fully realize and experience what it means to be in a group environment and we believe it's extremely important to nurture their want to be an active member of this micro-culture.
