The clubhouse offers a pro-shop that is fully stocked with the latest equipment and apparel, men's and women's locker facilities, and casual dining. Island View Golf Club also offers a full length driving range, as well as chipping and putting practice areas.

The founders, affectionately known as The Rock Pickers, created this golf course on farmland owned by the Lobitz, Peterson, and Schwictenberg families.

Thank you for your interest in joining Island View Golf Club. We are a semi-private club that is owned by a capped number of 375 shareholders. Our membership is currently full, but you can elect to be placed on our Wait List by submitting an application along with a $500 non-refundable deposit (which will go towards your Initiation Fee).

Public Play

We welcome public players to enjoy our challenging 18-hole, semi-private golf course in Waconia, Minnesota, near the shores of scenic Lake Waconia. After your round of golf you can sit out on the patio to enjoy a beverage, or have casual meal in our restaurant, Vandy's Grille. Public players may make tee times up to 3 days in advance by calling the Pro Shop 952-442-6116, ext #2, or booking a tee time below.
Course

The first hole is the shortest and easiest-to-score par 5 on the golf course. Trees line both sides of the fairway, with two fairway bunkers on the right, and three bunkers surrounding the putting surface. This is the number 1 handicap hole and the view is spectacular! Out of bounds and two fairway bunkers flank the right side of the hole, and trees line the left side.
Clubhouse

The clubhouse at Island View Golf Club is a warm and friendly place to spend time enjoying a beverage after a round of golf, dining with friends, or just hanging out. Their smoker is up and running year round, and smoked meats and fresh veggies are featured in a handful of their most-delicious menu items.
