Dr. Mussett was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Mercyhurst Prep, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Penn State University. He then attended The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, one of only eight accredited podiatric medical schools in the nation, at the time.
