Geoffrey takes an extensive background in woodworking and cabinet-making and applies that to every window he restores or creates.
In 2001, he bought his first house, a modest 1925 cottage in the Woodstock neighborhood. Like any ambitious new homeowner / carpenter, he decided to renovate the place himself. During the process of restoring his original wood windows, he realized how effective they can be when restored correctly. He also noticed how many homeowners were replacing their functional wood windows with poorly made replacements without knowing there is another option.

One of the fastest ways to degrade a wood window is to let it live through a Portland winter. The cycle of wetting and drying that comes during the winter months quickly deteriorates exposed window sills, glazing and paint. Reduce street noise and minimize drafts.
