Fractures/Dislocations
Report
The scaphoid is one of the small bones in the wrist. It is the wrist bone that is most likely to break. The scaphoid is located on the thumb side of the wrist, in the area where the wrist bends. An injury to the triangular fibrocartilaginous complex (TFCC) can cause chronic wrist pain. Trying to break a fall by putting your hand out in front of you seems almost instinctive.
Patient Videos
Report
In osteoarthritis (OA, or "degenerative arthritis") the cartilage layer wears out, resulting in direct contact between the bones and producing pain and deformity. Tennis elbow is a form of tendonitis that causes pain over the bony prominence called the lateral epicondyle on the outside of the elbow.
