I have been taking pictures since I was big enough to hold a camera in my small hands.
I went to school for computers and regularly build my own. I bought my first digital SLR camera in 2004 and convinced Jeff to follow suit soon after. I discovered my passion for photography in college where I majored in Sociology because I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I sat in a cube for 10 years before photography became my full time job.

Black Thumb Studio is based in the Greater Boston area and provides wedding, engagement portrait, senior portrait, event, and freelance photography services. We love to have fun while working with you and capture images that reflect the real you. Available for travel world wide! We use Nikon professional DSLRs when we shoot.
