In 2011, Thorntree Psychiatric Associates began serving as the primary teaching site for the Texas A&M College of Medicine required M2-M3 Clinical Medicine Graduate Student six-week Psychiatric Clerkship Rotation-- Dallas Campus.
All of the Thorntree Physicians are skilled active clinical faculty and have the responsibility for education and developing early clinical skills for medical students who will be working in all medical and surgical specialties in the future.

We have recently completed an affiliation with TMS NeuroSolutions, a North Texas professional organization which includes physicians and extensively trained and experienced technicians as well as a comprehensive organizational management team. Together, we provide Transcranial Magnetic Simulation treatment in our office for depression and other central nervous system disorders.

A Telehealth appointment is just like a regular appointment. You will sit in front of your computer, Tablet or Smart Phone where you will be able to see yourself and your Thorntree Health provider. Once you have started your appointment, patients and providers will interact, just as they would for a traditional clinic appointment.

The reviews about the calls returned are accurate, they will call you at exactly 48 hours after you call. A bit frustrating, but I guess it isn't the worst. Dr. Kelt was so kind and patient with me, thorough and gentle. He did not interrupt me as I spoke, did not dismiss my thoughts or concerns, and even though he had his tablet there, his focus was 100% on me - and working on the tablet to score my responses as needed. I appreciated that he was not distracted by it and gave me his full attention and expertise. He really helped me not be ashamed of my diagnosis and I even got emotional in our session

Called and left a message . I received a call back within 48 hours. They needed more information so I gave them what they requested, my childs age, my concern, etc. they said they wanted to match him. It has been a week now and no one called me back. Thank goodness a different office was able to schedule my son and get him the required medications. Please return calls

I would like to echo the words of previous reviewers who stated that no one answers the phone here. Ditto.
I have been a patient of Dr. Stoica’s for over a year, and during that time, I don’t think anyone has ever answered the phone when I called to ask a medication question or schedule/reschedule/cancel an appointment.
I called this morning to cancel an appointment for this upcoming Thursday. As usual, it went to voicemail. I wanted to give ample notice, so that other patients can be scheduled if needed. What did I receive in return? A voicemail from the office staff that Dr. Stoica will

Dr. Lucas is amazing. He has helped me with my anxiety and a couple different things. He is very knowledgeable, makes things personable, and is the most wonderful psychiatrist. He takes the time to break down everything and never pushes how you feel to the side. He literally saved my life.
I guess if I had a complaint it would be that no one answers the phone, but you get what you need after all, so it’s not a big deal.

I have taken my son here to Dr. Kelt. Dr. Kelt seems like a nice man, but something is going on in this office as a whole. When seeing the doctor he blames the staff for not responding sooner. When speaking with the staff they tell me when and what time they emailed him. I have been waiting nearly 3 weeks for blood work results and not one is responding. Who knows if my my sons results are life threatening??? NOT ME!! I have called at least 5 times on the same issue. Now I need to transfer my son's care to another clinic because they are so terrible. There is a reason why this practice has appointment

I have been seeing Dr. Stoica for a couple of years. I can not recommend her more. Prior to seeing Dr. Stoica, I was at what I realized later was a "pill mill." They kept prescribing me more medications at higher doses without really listening to me and never had an appointment with me longer than 10 minutes. They never remembered details about who I was, and I am lucky I do not have an addictive personality because the drugs they were handing out like candy have the propensity to be abused. With Dr. Stoica, I am on one medication at a relatively low dose. She recommends additional coping techniques

Dr. Lucas is awesome, great psychologist. Have been visiting with him for years. I consider him a friend and confidant. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone who may need mental health issues. Visiting with a psychiatrist doesn't mean you're crazy, so don't be afraid to seek help if you are in need of someone to talk with.
