Mountain Movers
With 14 years' experience as a laborer in the moving Industry, Michael approached Montgomery with the idea of creating a moving company near Reading, Pennsylvania. Montgomery, who has 20+ years dealing antiques, partnered up and together they purchased a small warehouse located centrally in beautiful Wyomissing, PA.

With Michael's extensive knowledge in the moving business and Monty's knowledge handling and shipping antiques, they thought it was a perfect combination to start a moving company. Also, with the lack of moving companies in the area, Monty and Michael wanted to create a fresh, new company for customers to choose from.

In the state of Pennsylvania, a local move is considered any move that is 40 miles or less from origin of address to the destination. Due to current laws, an hourly rate will be assigned to the customer and a written estimate of the bill will be given to the customer prior to the move. Unlike big moving companies with a lot of overhead, Mountain Movers keeps its costs to a minimum which in turn, provides affordable pricing for the customer.

Faq
Report
When it comes to moving yourself or hiring a professional, unless you live in an apartment or 2 BR House, I suggest the latter of the two options. As a mover I can honestly say if I had to move myself, I would hire someone to do it. Who really wants to carry a bunch of dressers down from the second floor or in some cases even the 3rd floor?
