Indianapolis-based Advance Aero is a certified repair station for the FAA. The business was founded in 1984 and purchased by the Wilson Family in 2003. Since, it has grown exponentially, becoming incorporated in 2008, expanding to its current 33,000 square foot facility in 2013. At the core of our business there has always been a passion for the aviation industry and service to our valued customers.

Owners Todd and Christine Wilson are a husband wife duo with decades of experience. Todd's passion for aviation and aircraft maintenance began during his days of service in the United States Air Force as a fighter plane mechanic. After numerous years working within the cargo aircraft maintenance industry, Todd knew he wanted to support aviation partners on a larger scale.

Advance Aero has the capabilities of structural or composite repairs on flight controls. We operate within a self-add capabilities list to meet expedited lead times. As a company, if we deem the component repairable, we work alongside a DER that has vast experience in the particular aircraft that the component belongs to.
Aircraft Fabrication and Modification

Advance Aero has extensive experience and the full capabilities to fabricate, install, and test aircraft fabrication and modifications. CNC machining is a manufacturing process in which pre-programmed computer software dictates the movement of factory tools and machinery. Composites offer many benefits.
