We've lived here for going on year number 3!! Glenn and Claire are the best!!! They always go above and beyond to make sure the residents are happy!! Even the maintenance staff is amazing and friendly. It's great to live somewhere so conveniently located to retail shops and restaurants and to live somewhere that makes their residents feel valued. We really appreciate how much effort they put in to keep the grounds attractive and the pools clean. Our neighbors are the best and we look forward to being residents at The Timbers for quite a while.

Property management here is wonderful. They are quite responsive with anything happening. Complex is clean. The only issues are with things out of their control. Living next to the trolley you can hear it, and there are vagrants in the area because of that. Also there is a freight train that comes about once a week from 1-3 am. Besides that, this was a very affordable apartment complex with plenty of amenities.

Everything is great about this place. The location, the neighbors, the staff, the maintenance, the pool, the courtyard, the appartment. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I lived very comfortable in this place for three years and if I ever go back to San Diego I definitely look into living here again.

Timbers apartment are okay inside and quiet but they shut down the water like 2 or 3 times every single month and they charger for everything like your living in a home (sewer, water , trash and gas) so you end up paying like a house payment ( with this coronavirus is even more crazy we have to stay home and now they closed the laundry room even though laundry room is very important to us . We gotta keep our clothes clean more than ever. I don't recommend this place at all.

They have closed their pool, and hot tub due to COVID-19, Which is completely understandable, But they also closed the laundry room. They stated that it was because they could not clean it after every use, which makes no sense because individuals could just clean before and after every use. They told us we could instead use the laundromat down the street. The best part is that even though they took our amenities away, they said they will not be changing the rent price. Glad we cant due laundry but you will still charge us the same rent when no one is working.

I had lived in the timbers apartments for 3 exact years and I'm extremely upset & unsatisfied with their services and management! To start off, the toilet would always clogged for no reason or maybe because it was just old & management would always take their time fixing it. Then they would always shut off the water for hours within the same day notice. To continue on, on the lease it says tenants are paying for heated pools and the pools water were always cold because according to management the heater for the pool didn't work. This place isn't convenient at all the have the machine to reload the washer and dryers in the leasing office and after 5 when people get off work they have no access for it if that is the cause why not switch out the machines so you can use the Bluetooth enabled washer and dryers like the other apartment complexes in San Diego. Like come on people who get off work late have to do laundry too.

No need to thank me your office personal is on there business. Crystal, Glen and Cassandra are top notch. I thank you for an awesome place to stay. It may look shady, but I'm in the shade. No drama, late night bs, no lies and thank you. Security doing there job. Most property owners promise this and that, you don't.
Only complaint is parking. I feel you need to offer tenant's the attempt to buy Xtra parking permit. First come first serve...no promises. $30.00 bucks I'm game. When I your staff they come.

I've been to 7 different sites over my apartment living life and I have to say that the greatest factor that comes into play is the management. Timbers has the best management I've experienced yet. They never disappointed us in our needs or maintenance requests, always quick to respond. Cassandra definitely made a huge difference in making our experience the best possible. This was a pleasant place to stay.... while I was deployed. But when I came back I felt that it wasn't where I wanted to live anymore. I decided not to renew my lease and Glenn and Cassandra made my remaining time there so horrible. It was as though I had someone spying on me. I would talk to Glenn about an issue and he would assure me that it would be fixed or to not worry about it. I like living here for the conveniences of my family. But the apartment staff and that assistant manager "Cassandra" really doesn't know how to communicate with her fellow employees or the residents who live there. She speaks very offensively to everyone like she owns the place. Like get off what ever high horse you feel your own because you act like trash. It is with a heavy heart that we move out of our lovely little apartment here at the Timbers! We have enjoyed our year here and would love to stay but being closer to a new job calls for us.

Excellent. The Timbers staff are always professional, warm & approachable. The maintenance team is the best I've experienced in all my apartment living. All the employees are exceptionably knowledgeable. The grounds & pool are always clean & well maintained & the area is quiet & peaceful. Was approved for the place two weeks before move in date, but they switched the apartment on me because some lady decided not to move out after all.. The day before I was supposed to move in, I was told by Debbie that the place had cockroaches. They could not guarantee when it would be roach free, and mentioned another unit has been vacant and treated for roaches for 2 months now with no luck. As soon as I asked for a refund on my deposit, they asked where to send it, but also reposted the vacancy on craigslist - which concerns me. If one unit has roaches, the whole complex likely needs to be tented

I've been here for a year now. I really do love it here. The maintenance guys are always hard at work keeping the place looking nice. I love, LOVE the floor plan and this was the only place I could find that was affordable (that allowed dogs), with all of it's amenities (pool, laundry, etc) and did not charge pet rent for my doggies. The staff is friendly, the residents are friendly, yet stay out of your business. Location is great too, around the corner from the mall, stores, yet the logistics keeps the traffic away. And there's a park across the street!

My experience with the Timbers has been a very pleasant one. I'd like to just take a moment to recount my experience to other yelpers who might potentially take a look at the apartment! I'll start by listing the pro's and con's of my first week here and will update it accordingly with any major changes that happen!

The timbers is an amazing place to live. Its quiet and peaceful. All the staff is very polite and helpful. The complex is very clean and maintained. The apartments are central to everything. Bowling alley is across the street, mall a block away, and trolley is right next to the apartments. Overall it is a great place to live.

The staff is great they work really hard to make us happy. They take care of everything! It's a fun place to live there are tenants that have been here for 20+ years I have never seen that anywhere.
