Services
Our family's tradition of serving up great food for the public began in 1959 when my uncle Bob Johnston took a job at the 1950s-style Kreamie Kream restaurant in White Settlement, Texas. Complete with drive-in speakers, car hops and famous 50 cent "Frisco Burgers" among other local favorites, he would eventually purchase the business in 1966 and add another location named after his oldest son Ricky in 1969.

Mike is professional and personable. He guided me through the ordering process, the options available and the amount of food that would work best for my guests. He was easy to contact and prompt with responding to any questions that I had. The day of the event, delivery and set up was on time and the buffett presentation was amazing.

Mike’s Smokehouse BBQ is simply the BEST you can find in a smoked/bbq style catering. We went to Mike’s for our first food tasting and knew right then that he had such a unique taste that we had to have him for… our Wedding Caterer. He has such a great variety of meats and sides. We decided to go with the smoked pulled chicken, smoked glazed ham, mac & cheese, green beans, and cornbread. I cannot rave about Mike and his company enough! We were beyond impressed with them for our wedding. When I first contacted Mike via phone, we discussed options with limitations regarding COVID. Luckily, we… were able to have a full buffet (delivered) on our wedding day! We ordered the chicken/pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, mac & cheese, BBQ baked beans and green beans. Mike's Smokehouse BBQ catered our wedding. They were seriously amazing! They were so easy to work and communicate with during a crazy season of unknown throughout our wedding planning. The food was amazing, and they were so sweet to both me and my husband on our wedding day. The food set up was perfect! It was both cute and professional at the same time. Going with Mike's smokehouse was the best choice. The price was great. They did such a good job. But also oh my god the food is so good. The brisket is amazing like the fat melts in your mouth its perfect. The chicken is seasoned so well you don't need the barbecue sauce but you'll want it cause it is super good too. Mac and cheese is bomb! They make it with onion and jalapeno and stuff but were super accommodating and did half of it plain for my picky eaters. The star for me was the baked beans they take a humble side dish like baked beans and kill it. It's filled with bacon, an amazing sauce

Loved working with Mike. He was in contact with me throughout the entire planning process for my event. He showed up on time, set up beautifully and answered any questions I had. We had Mike and his staff cater our wedding and it was absolutely amazing! They were so professional, kind, and did a wonderful job. When we first met Mike for a tasting we knew right away that we wanted to have him as a part of our big day. He took care of everything and made sure we were at ease! He even drove to our venue before the wedding to… make sure he knew where to set up and met the owners of our venue. Mike’s Smokehouse was so amazing to work with! They catered our wedding this past month and it could not have gone smoother! We had about 200 guests so you can imagine there was a lot going on; a lot of food to prepare/switch out for the buffet. They were extremely professional throughout the whole process, from the tasting to the communication leading up to our big day- they seem to truly care about you and your event and treat you as if it’s their own event they’re hosting.
