Engage the Brain is a pre-k through adult learning center in the Central Florida area, serving all types of learners. Students work with dedicated Learning Specialists to strengthen academic foundational skills, close learning gaps, rebuild confidence, and rediscover love of learning. Parents find new hope as their struggling student progresses.

At Engage the Brain, we offer academic tutoring and intervention services for all types of learners. Our personalized programming utilizes science-based teaching strategies that are focused on closing gaps, building confidence, and advancing each learner.
Besides servicing students with academic struggles, we also coach and facilitate the development of academic confidence for students that struggle with attention, focus, organizational skills, or anxiety.Not all learners are the same. Multisensory math is beneficial for all students but essential for students who display a difficulty or a learning difference in mathematics known as dyscalculia. Beginning with the concrete, students learn to associate quantities or values with symbols we call "numbers."
Students move to understanding patterns in math, using quick visualization techniques, known as subitizing, to help them count and compute, They begin to utilize reasoning skills when problem solving.Multisensory instruction in math is important for students with language-based learning differences.

Support for Schools, Educators, & Families

EtB appreciates the opportunity to work with a variety of schools, both directly and on behalf of the families we serve. The School Support program encompasses a range of consulting services for educators, school administrators, and families. Services can include individual or group training and workshops covering the specialized approaches used for teaching students with different learning styles.
Homeschool Programming

We love our homeschoolers! Engage the Brain homeschooling teachers are here to support families by offering deep dives on key subjects for students, as well as curriculum support and consultation for parents. We help families that homeschool develop and customize education plans that are individualized for each student and reflect student and family priorities.
