A current Texas fishing license is required to fish in these waters for those ages 17 and older. The captain cannot make exceptions. Please review the state guidelines for age requirements and you can purchase your license at various stores in the South Padre Island and Port Isabel area as well as online at Texas Parks and Wildlife www.tpwd.state.tx.us.
