I purchased the LSM-1 PowerFilm Solar. I have used it on a number of backpacking trips. Last summer we used it on an 8 day section of the PCT in northern Washington state. It worked great. It kept our phones charged and the HAM radio running. This is definitely a great solution for larger groups on multiday trips. The 17000mA Hr battery keeps things happening when there is no sun and the huge solar panel makes quick work of charging when the sun is out. Having the 12V port in addition to the USB port is great for using with the HAM radio along with other things. The LSM-1 is part of my standard

The powerfilm lightsaver max is Light weight, durable, perfect for field radio operations. Ill be getting a second one eventually and, between the two, will be able to completely power digital field ops, essentially, indefinitely. Good product, guys

Fantastic purchase for my 2018 Club CarPrecedent! I am able to play 36 holes of golf here in NC and still use the cart to visit in the neighborhood. I'm also finding the need to use the home charger less and less and when I do it charges in half the time. I would highly recommend PowerFilm Solar for any golf cart owner.

I like many who do portable radio ops have used many solar battery configurations. This one is the best. I really dont even have a tiny suggestion for improvement. It works great. The perfect compliment to an Icom IC-705.
