In Hawaiian, the word napili can mean a couple of things. It can refer to a native grass called pili, which ancient Hawaiians used as thatching for traditional hale (houses). But pili also means to cling or stick to, and it's a word that's used to describe feelings of closeness and familiarity. In the 1950s, Kepoikai Aluli, along with his business partner Yoshiho "Y" Ogami, purchased the land where our hotel sits.

Our condominium rentals are located just steps from Napili Beach, the most beautiful beach in West Maui. With just 30 units surrounding a quiet tropical oasis, this is where you come for ho'omaha - for rest and relaxation. Most of our rooms are either a Studio or One-Bedroom layout. The main difference is that the Studios have an open floor plan, whereas the One-Bedroom units have separate living and sleeping areas.
