Henry G. Gallina (1913 - 1996) was literally born, raised and lived all of his life in the Bridgeville area. The third of six children from Italian immigrant parents Henry, or "Chick" as he was called by relatives & friends, showed an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.

Henry began his business career at the age of 8 by selling newspapers to the passengers on the commuter trains that often stopped at the Bridgeville train station on their ride from Pittsburgh to Washington, PA.After high school Henry worked as an Allegheny County police officer assigned to Woodville State Hospital here in Collier Twp. when he was drafted for military service during WW II.
