Ballet & Pointe
Our Ballet & Pointe program builds foundational dance skills through structured technique training. Students develop grace, strength, and flexibility while learning proper terminology and posture. Pointe work requires teacher approval and specialized instruction to ensure proper development and safety for advanced students.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop classes teach contemporary movement styles set to current music. Students develop rhythm, coordination, and personal style while learning age-appropriate choreography. Classes emphasize stage presence and creative expression in a high-energy environment that welcomes all skill levels.
Private Lessons
Personalized dance instruction available for $40/hour (individual) or $20/person/hour (group). These sessions help students prepare for auditions, refine competition routines, or receive focused attention on specific performance pieces or technical challenges.
Mixed Discipline
Efficient training format combining multiple dance styles in a single session. Students experience 30-45 minute segments of different disciplines, developing versatility while saving time. Requires appropriate attire and shoes for each style included in the class.
Birthday Parties
Customizable dance party packages for birthdays include choreographed line dances, games, and exercise-based celebrations. Parties can be fully planned by our staff or customized with client input to create memorable themed events for children and teens.

Vicky Alfirevic
Owner & Director
With 20+ years teaching dance, Vicky founded Dance For Me Performing Arts Center in 2018. She has choreographed community theater productions, directed youth dance troupes, and developed adaptive dance programs for students with disabilities.
Ginnie Meyer
Instructor
Ginnie brings 50 years of dance experience, including 23 years operating her own Ohio studio. She has performed in professional theater productions and earned certifications from the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters in multiple disciplines.
Danielle Filetti
Instructor
Danielle holds a dance degree from Columbia College Chicago and has trained with renowned modern dance companies. She has taught at Dance For Me since 2012, focusing on continuing education to enhance student development.
Ryan Siu
Instructor
Ryan has trained for 7 years under industry professionals and attended multiple dance conventions. He brings competition experience from World of Dance events and Hip Hop International to his teaching practice.
Tanya
Instructor
Tanya trained at Ruth Page Center for the Arts and Milwaukee Ballet. After professional performance experience with Milwaukee Ballet and Long Beach Ballet, she now shares her expertise in classical ballet techniques.

What dance styles do you offer?

The main teacher here doesnt teach, she sits there like Abby lee trying to pin children against each other. Shes rude and favorites children, and if youre not favorited its not very kind words that will be said to your child. The level of professionalism here is embarrassing, PLEASE dont take your children here. I ended up switching my child to another dance studio after she was crying in the car after practices often, and we never looked back.
