Established in 2003, Nissa's String Studio strives to create a warm, positive and enriching environment for each and every student to flourish in. We have a versatile team of instructors who are actively involved in the local and regional music scene, ranging from folk rock bands to jazz acts, to string quartets and symphonies.

Spitfire Fiddle Band

Nissa's String Studio hosts the community-based fiddle group, The Spitfire Fiddle Band. This is a fun group designed to cultivate fiddle music within the community. The Spitfire Fiddle Band plays a repertoire of old-time fiddle tunes in a laid-back, yet productive setting. Learning resources are provided by the studio.
