Chicago Karate Champions offers a holistic approach to martial arts, combining both physical and spiritual training in order for students to portray good manners, adhere to discipline, cultivate positive attitudes and build self-confidence. Based on Shotokan karate, our programs enable students to grow emotionally and learn about the importance of respect, self-control, concentration and setting goals for themselves.

This program primarily focuses on the fundamentals. It teaches discipline, basic karate techniques and beginner stretches catered to young children who aren't well versed in physical-activity exercises. Kids in this age group aren't necessarily familiar with listening to a teacher, but this program instills the disciplinary qualities needed for them to pay attention to what their elders say.

This program starts with basic karate techniques and progresses into more advanced kumite training. It effectively prepares them to gradually improve their skills with a variety of exercises and self-defense drills, with a goal of successfully attaining all the karate belts - from white to black.
This program also focuses on improving the student's power, speed and agility, as well as other abilities that strengthen the practice of implementing self-defense techniques.Karate Kids have an opportunity to take advantage of specialized training sessions to help them prepare for participating in tournaments, including local, state and USA Open events.

This program offers a wide variety of resources to fit the different types of physical-activity needs for students aged 15 and up. Beginner classes consist of activities that help newcomers develop the skills needed to partake in physical activity. Exercises in this category focus on boosting stamina, speed, agility, power, flexibility, endurance, balance, compatibility and overall movement.
