Dr. Gayoso was born in Gainesville, Florida and he completed his undergraduate education at Duke University and the University of Florida. His medical degree was completed at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida and his surgical training was completed at the Medical University of South Carolina, both in general surgery and plastic surgery.
Since 2005, Dr. Gayoso has been Chief of Plastic Surgery at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and was Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Anthony's Hospital from 2004 thru 2018. He is a member of The Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a past president of the Tampa Bay Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Gina Gathings-Giancola became an aesthetician at the age of 19, and was quickly recognized for her deft talent in tradition aesthetician services. From traditional makeup to facials, she learned the trade quickly, and was perfectly positioned to change with the profession as new kinds of anti-aging technologies (such as combined microdermabrasion/peels and laser treatments) began to change the standard of care in beauty treatments.

Jessica McCarry, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant from the Tampa Bay area. She completed a plastic surgery rotation with our office while in PA school and joined the Gayoso Plastic Surgery team right after graduation. Jessica has focused her career solely on aesthetic medicine. She spent the fist two years assisting Dr. Gayoso in surgery while quickly building her non-surgical practice.
