We go beyond curb-to-curb service - assisting clients from bed to wheel chair, to and from locations. In 1992, a group of Whatcom County residents saw the need for an ambulance service that would augment, as well as provide and alternative to, the service provided by the fire department. Such a service would provide the highest levels of patient care available, with the utmost compassion and concern for the consumer and their families.

Cascade Ambulance Service, Inc. was formed by a group of Whatcom County residents whose experiences in the Fire and Emergency Medical Services told them that there was a need for an alternative to what was currently available. To provide the highest level of non-emergency, emergency medical, and patient transportation services available.

We are ready to serve you 24 hours per day, seven days per week, year round, in all weather in Whatcom, Skagit and Island Counties. We provide the full range of both Emergency and Non-Emergency ambulance transportation services. This may include trips to and from local hospitals for injury and illness, or discharges to skilled nursing facilities, transfers to other Hospitals or Specialized Facilities, or visits to Physicians offices.
