The Dance Company has been dedicated to dance education since 1990. Founded on the principles of proper technique and performance excellence, we offer comprehensive training for all ages and skill levels. Our curriculum spans from preschool programs to advanced classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, acrobatics, musical theatre, contemporary, and hip hop. Under the leadership of directors Beth Cannon and Julie George, our mission is to provide top-tier dance instruction in a supportive environment. With over three decades of experience, we have trained thousands of dancers and take pride in our alumni's achievements. Our team of certified instructors combines technical expertise with a passion for nurturing artistic growth.We emphasize performance opportunities as vital components of dance education, including our annual Nutcracker production at the Von Braun Center. Tap The Dance Company

What dance styles do you offer?

Are recitals mandatory?

Registration is available through our online customer portal using the email provided during initial enrollment.
What are costume fees?
Costume fees are $50 per participating class, billed in October with payment details sent via email.
Do you offer competitive dance programs?
Yes, our competition program includes auditions, masterclasses, and participation in national events like YAGP.
What are your office hours?
Office hours are Monday 1:30-8:30pm, Tuesday 9am-12pm & 4-8:30pm, Wednesday 9am-12pm & 4-8:30pm, Thursday 1:30-8:30pm, and Friday 3-6pm.

Both of my daughters took dance at TDC beginning in 1994 until high school graduation. They both absolutely loved it there. So much so that my oldest daughter, Miss Haylee, is one of the dance teachers

I absolutely love this dance company. My daughter, of whom is 13, absolutely adore her class and her instructor Ms. Haley. Besides the fact that it's convenient to my entire circle with living and working in Madison, AL. It's also a pleasure to have such a great experience so close to home.
