Stretching from Metlakatla to Hoonah, we have 4 local branches, 4 community microsites, and 19 ATMs in coastal Alaska. Members also have access to 5,000+ shared branches nationwide!

In 1963 a group of teachers and public workers came together and created Tongass Federal Credit Union because their financial needs were not being met by local banks. This group of people deposited their savings and made small loans to fellow members.

Reduce your stress and let TFCU help send your payroll distributions. You will provide TFCU with the lump sum in your account and signed agreements from your employees to receive the direct deposit. TFCU will follow your instructions to send direct deposits to your employee's accounts. This is a payroll distribution process only, TFCU does not complete tax filings, payments, or calculations regarding payroll services.
