We are an all-inclusive driving school that is locally owned and operated. Our instructors are certified State of Alaska educational teachers. We also have significant qualifying work with other driving schools, across multiple states. You can rest assured that we offer the most current and up to date driver training in a safe and professional atmosphere.
We do not currently have a brick and mortar office space. Our remote admin can answer any and all questions, schedule appointments and enroll students for class.

With 7 day availability and lessons available from early morning to late evening, North Star Driving School can meet your needs. Our staff members are professional, patient and have a true passion for public safety.
If under the age of 18, it is required to have held a permit for at least 6 months before you can test with parent consent. During the test, the examiner is only there to give directions and score your driving skills. The examiner can answer questions before or after the test. It is a DMV requirement that questions cannot be answered while the test is in progress and no unnecessary talking with examiner.
