Growing up in California, Dr. Peter Nguyen attended UC Irvine for his undergraduate education. In 1994, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois. He was also trained in hospital dentistry at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey, California.

At the initial visit, oral hygiene instructions are reviewed and are reinforced at subsequent recall visits.
